There you are… Lovely Poem

There you are…
by Damona M. Efraim

I like what I see
I like what I feel
Street noise got me window chasin’
Got me curtain pushin’
Hopin’ it might be you
Foolish...

Foolish am I
To fall for you this way
But I like the way you make me feel
I like the way I smile when I think of you
The warmth I feel...so nice

But can this be true?
Could it ever be real?
I don’t know... I hope so...
I wanna explore more of you
But I might be wrong
To ever think
It could ever come to that
But there you are...
Always on my mind
Do you like me?
Foolish...

Foolish am I
To wish...
But there you are
Always on my mind
My perfect Stranger...

I just can't understand why ....

Why?
by Mandi  Erickson

I just can't understand why you have to make me cry.
Hurtin' me so bad, makin' me want to die.
Why do you cause tears to fall from my eyes?
You treat me so bad compared to past guys!

I just can't see why you treat me that way,
Then come around makin' up the very next day.
That's messed up, but that ain't all I have to say.
You're going to sit here and listen, even if it takes all day!

It tears me down when you choose your friends over me.
Is there anything I can do to make you see
Just how much you really do mean to me?
Don't you understand, my heart is locked, but you have the key.

You always do stupid things then act like you care.
Why is it when I need someone, you're never there?
Tell your friends I need you too; they have to share,
Why do I get set to the side? You know that ain't fair.

I don't know why I put up with your stuff.
We both know darn well that I've had enough!
I still don't know why with you I stay,
Just to put up with your stuff, day after day.

So with this pen, I pour out my heart.
These are my feelings... not just a piece of art.
I'm letting you go, I've said my part.
If we break up, remember, you and your friends tore us apart.

Every time you smile at someone ...

Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.
~~~ Mother Teresa
What's the Most Painful Thing in Life? Any Guesses???
People think that the Most Painful thing in life is losing the one you value...
The Truth is the Most Painful thing in life is losing yourself in the process of valuing someone too much & forgetting that YOU ARE SPECIAL TOO!!!
True Friendship Poem: If One Day...
IF ONE DAY .....
If one day you feel like crying;
Call me .....
I don't promise that I will make you laugh...
But I can cry with you!
If one day you want to run away;
Don't be afraid to call me.
I don't promise to ask you to stop...
But I can run with you!
If one day you don't want to listen to anyone;
Call me ...
I promise to be there for your,
And I promise to be very quiet!
But if one day you call me...
And there is no answer;
Come fast to see me,
Perhaps I need you!!!
I am the Captain of my Soul! - Nelson Mandela
I saw a beautiful movie "Invictus" a few days back and it was so mesmerizing and stunning that I could not wink my eyes, until I saw the end. The movie is inspired by a true story of South African President Nelson Mandela. One of the most loved part of the movie was a poem narrated by Nelson Mandela named, "I am the Master of my Fate; I am the Captain of my Soul"!
I am sure that you all will love it. You must Share this Post with Friends if you Like it! Thanks!
INVICTUS
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
You can also enjoy the poem in the voice of Morgan Freeman, as narrated by Nelson Mandela in "Invictus"!
Don't forget to Share with Friends!
